Dr. Mark Flattery is the President of Network211, an online ministry that address a new frontier in missions; the 3.2 billion people who comprise the virtual nation on the Internet. You can view the portal site at www.Network211.com.
Network211 uses 21st century technology to communicate the 1st century Gospel. The mission strategies are evangelism (www.Project100million.com), discipleship (www.GlobalChristianCenter.com), equipping ministry partners to use the Internet in ministry (http://globalchristiancenter.com/what-is-content-syndication), and Christian community (www.GlobalFriendLink.com).
Project 10Million was launched in October 2008 with the goal to present the Gospel to 10 million people in ten years. The Lord accomplished this in five years. Our goal was enlarged to become Project 100Million. Our main evangelism sites are www.JourneyAnswers.com and www.WhoJesusIs.com and are offered in the top ten languages of the Internet.
As of the end of May 2017, over 27 million people from 244 countries and territories have received a Gospel presentation online. Over 1.3 million of them made an evangelism response and over 248,000 wrote to us to start a discipleship connection.
Here is the process from a person make an online search to finding a local church:
- People Google their life issue that is troubling them.
- Network211 buys Google ad words so that their evangelism sites can be found more readily.
- People view a Network211 site, click an evangelism response button, and then write to us.
- Network211 directs them to discipleship content on our online church.
- Network211 then directs them to a local church in locations where they can worship openly.
Other sites include www.TheWarriorsJourney.org, www.Family-Relationships.com, and www.MuslimsAsk.com.
Network211 partners with other ministry and AG national churches worldwide for content, volunteers to answer those who write to them, and to direct people to local churches.
Mark will serve as the J. Phillip Hogan Professor World Mission at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS) during the 2017-2018 academic year.
